Local Inter-agency Coordinating Council

The Local Inter-agency Coordinating Council (LICC) is a committed group of individuals who meet in Cadillac 10 months out of the year. Individuals from more than 20 local agencies make up this group. During these meetings, committee work is completed and updates to strategic plans are made however the most important part is the networking, agency information sharing and relationship building.

Ice Breaker Activities are often implemented during these meetings. Here LICC members are attempting to make the best balloon animal in 60 seconds or less.

Conscious Discipline

“Conscious Discipline is a comprehensive social and emotional intelligence classroom management program that empowers both teachers and students. Based on current brain research, child development information and developmentally appropriate practices, the goal of the program is to provide systematic changes in schools by fostering the emotional intelligence of teachers first and children second.”
