Goal #5: All children are offered opportunities for early learning that prepares them for success in Kindergarten.

A. Increase awareness of parents and the community of educational opportunities, events and activities for young children.

B. Provide professional development resources for parents, child care providers and Early Childhood educators

C. Provide opportunities for parent involvement in preparing children for success in in all early learning settings from birth to age 8

D. Explore the development of a continuum of preschool options to meet the needs of all preschool children and their families

E. Convene a multidistrict, multiagency, school readiness advisory committee as a workgroup of the Great Start Collaborative.

F. Work with Resource Center to increase quality for child care and preschools
